Listings on this Memorial Site are by donation, enabling the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship (CHES) to maintain the site and continue its mission of promoting knowledge and understanding of the history and legacy of the Holocaust.
How to Submit a Holocaust Victim Listing
Submissions to the Tribute to Holocaust Victims database can be done in the following order:
1. Make a donation to CHES through Canada Helps donation site
$75 minimum donation (no limit on number of Survivor and/or Victim (perished) listings; retain your donation number to add further information about your survivor and/or victim listings at any time, if applicable)
Your donation is eligible for a tax receipt.

IMPORTANT: Record the donation confirmation number given by Canada Helps. This number will be required in the submission form as proof of donation.
2. Complete and submit the Holocaust victim listing submission form
Before submitting, you should take a look at the submission form in advance to see what kind of information can be entered. The submission form can be completed in 2 steps:
- Step 1: Victim Details (name, date of birth, date of death (if applicable), location of birth, death, current residence, survived by – spouse, children, grandchildren), etc.
- Step 2: Upload a victim picture and/or an additional picture. You may upload the pictures in JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF format or a PDG file. Max file size is 1MB. This step also collects information about the person submitting the listing (name, email, city, relationship to victim)
Please note that the submitted information will be reviewed and will appear in the database table following a few days after submission.
CHES reserves the right to edit listings and photos to fit space, format and/or grammatical requirements.
