Dr. Art Leader was raised in Toronto and moved to Ottawa in 1986 to start the In Vitro fertility clinic at the Civic Hospital (now the Ottawa Fertility Centre).
Both of Dr. Leader’s parents were the sole survivors of the Holocaust. It was through the kindness of strangers that they survived when others sought to murder them. His father bore witness against those in Canada who would deny the Holocaust. It is in their memory that Arthur has committed himself to educate the next generation of Canadians about the Holocaust.
