On Giving Tuesday, November 30th,
support the creation of an online Canadian historical collection, a Virtual Memorial for Holocaust Survivors!
The Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship (CHES) is developing the first-ever Virtual Memorial for Holocaust Survivors who have made Canada their home.
The Virtual Memorial will:
- record and pay tribute to Holocaust survivors from across Canada
- provide a much-needed resource for historical research about the Holocaust
- serve as a vital tool in the fight to eradicate antisemitism and Holocaust distortion
This project will be a lasting tribute to the courage and contributions of Holocaust Survivors who moved to Canada after World War II, and to their family members who were innocent victims of the worst genocide in human history.
The Virtual Memorial will complement CHES’s existing education initiatives and introduce innovative programs to transmit the legacy and lessons of the Holocaust.
Please help us achieve our Giving Tuesday goal and make
the Virtual Memorial a reality.
The first $20,000 in donations will be matched by an anonymous donor.
