Muriel Korngold Wexler was born in Lyon, France. She is a member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec (Secteur de Gatineau). A former senior executive with extensive experience in operations and administrative quasi-judicial and judicial environment, she enjoys exploring new fields and breaking new ground in areas requiring creativity and an inventive spirit. Muriel is naturally inquisitive, and has exceptional communications and inter-personal skills. She is involved in voluntary work in the community, notably Hillel Lodge, and is a former board member of the Ottawa Chapter of the Weitzman Institute and the Simon Wiesenthal Centre. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and is interested in educating the next generations and in providing relevant information to fight antisemitism and hatred of others.
