Zoltan Freid was born in Romania and emigrated to Canada in 1977. An electrical engineer by profession, he designed avionics equipment and handled marketing and sales worldwide for the aviation industry, retiring in 2017. The child of Holocaust survivors, Zoltan joined CHES as a volunteer to support its activities, fight antisemitism, and remember those who perished during the Holocaust.
