Laurence Wall officially joined CHES in August 2025, but he has been involved with the organization since its inception in 2015, regularly hosting CHES events and moderating panels. The veteran newscaster retired from CBC Radio in 2024 after 44 years with the public broadcaster. During that time, he prepared and presented more than 50,000 on-air newscasts and news updates. Laurence was also active in the community, hosting concerts and various events and working with several Jewish groups on their programming.
