Although I am originally from Montreal, I have lived in Ottawa for more than 35 years. I am the proud mother of two children and have three grandchildren, all living in Ottawa. For more than 20 years, I have been a teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, mostly with middle school students in Grades 7 and 8. Having parents who lived in Czechoslovakia and Hungary during World War II and who suffered from the atrocities of the Holocaust, I choose to support CHES in fighting antisemitism and ensuring that future generations remember this historic time period. “Never Again”!
