The Normalization of Antisemitism in the Name of ‘Justice’ 80 Years After the Nuremberg Trials

CHES is honoured to present the opening event of Holocaust Education Month 2026 featuring a keynote address by Michal Cotler-Wunsh, internationally recognized human rights advocate, scholar, and leading authority on contemporary antisemitism.

In her keynote address, Michal Cotler-Wunsh will examine the legacy of the Nuremberg Trials and the ways in which they transformed international law in the aftermath of the Second World War. Her remarks will also explore the contemporary misuse and politicization of the language of human rights and international law, and how these concepts are increasingly being distorted and weaponized to advance modern forms of antisemitism within Canada and the world.
