Born in Montreal, Marion Silver accepted a position as a teacher of French as a Second Language with the Ottawa Board of Education in 1973. Over the years, Marion has participated in various community projects. She joined CHES as a tribute to her mother who was a survivor of Kristallnacht and who passed away in 2010. Marion is married to Alan Brass and is the proud mother of Lawrence, Raphael, and Shira and grandmother to Ruben Israel and Lewis Paul.
