CHES at 10 Years: Holocaust Remembrance & Education in a World of Turmoil – What We Need to Learn and to Relearn.
As the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship (CHES) celebrates 10 years since its establishment, Canada, and indeed the world, are at a critical juncture with antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and even violence threatening Jewish life in Ottawa. To address this disturbing situation, CHES has invited renowned Holocaust scholar Professor Michael Berenbaum to deliver the keynote address at the launch event for Holocaust Education Month 2025 on November 10th.
