Please join us for a unique presentation by genealogist Peter Jassem, an architect who has spent years researching the roots of relatives affected by the Holocaust. His work preserves the lessons of humanity and tolerance learned from survivors.
Peter will explore major resources such as the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Yad Vashem, and Arolsen Archives, along with lesser-known collections in Poland and around the world. He will share practical research techniques that can also be applied to genealogical research in other countries.
His presentation combines valuable research guidance with deeply personal stories of Polish Jews during the Holocaust—stories of tragedy, survival, courage, betrayal, and extraordinary acts of assistance. Richly illustrated, the presentation will inspire descendants and the public alike to continue preserving these histories and the lessons they hold.
