2015, May 27, “Students Speak”, Canadian Society for Yad Vashem’s Ambassadors of Change Program

| 0

The Yad Vashem Ambassadors of Change program brings together grade 11 high school students from Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto to hear the experiences of survivors during and after World War II. Students share ideas about the dangers of unchecked intolerance in a multicultural society and the world at large and are invited to propose steps they can take to promote tolerance and understanding in their own communities and to define their own roles as responsible Canadian citizens. CHES is pleased to facilitate the participation of Ottawa students and provide the participating survivors who live in Ottawa.
