Focusing on Antisemitism, Responding to Incidents of Hate

Building on the work already accomplished in Ottawa through CHES, the Senior Director of Unpacked for Educators, Avi Posen, introduced the first session of the pilot program at Sir Robert Borden High School, offering premium resources and professional development support in the areas of antisemitism, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and issues related to Jewish communities. Following the presentation Educators discussed “case study” scenarios that were based upon incidents that have happened at schools, including Sir Robert Borden High School of the Ottawa Carleton District School Board.
